This silver acorn pendant is cast in recycled sterling silver and hangs on a 45 cm silver chain. I made it using a traditional sandcasting method, taken directly from a tiny, perfectly formed acorn I found while out on a woodland walk.
Something about its shape—the texture, the balance, how complete it felt—stood out straight away, and I knew I wanted to turn it into a piece of wearable jewellery.
The acorn has long been a symbol of potential, growth, and quiet strength, and this pendant captures that spirit in a natural and understated way. It’s a simple piece, with just enough weight and texture to make it feel comforting when worn.
